Dr Evangelos Mellios is currently a Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Bristol. Evangelos received a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2007, and an MSc in Communication Systems and Signal Processing from the University of Bristol in 2008. He then joined the Communication Systems and Networks Research Group where he completed his PhD in 2013, and he subsequently worked as a Research Assistant in on-body sensing and wireless communications within the SPHERE WP3.

Evangelos' research interests include antennas, radiowave propagation and PHY-layer system-level analysis, modelling and measurements for a variety of wireless technologies and applications, such as next generation cellular networks (5G mmWave and Massive MIMO systems); Wi-Fi communication systems; and low-power body-centric and Internet-of-Things systems.
