Dr John Tudor

Research Fellow


John Tudor graduated in Electronic and Electrical Engineering in 1983 and obtained a PhD in resonant sensors between 1984 and 1988 sponsored by Standard Telecommunications Laboratories. He is currently a Principal Research Fellow within Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton where he has worked since 2001. His current research interests are energy harvesting, sensors, MEMS, printing, smart fabrics and microfabrication. He was a co-founder of Perpetuum in 2004, a company specialising in vibration energy harvesting.
